On Saturday, August 26, New Hope Valley Railway (NHVR) is hosting a pizza party complete with ice cream, music, train rides and pizza for all ages and craft beer and local wine for adults 21+.
Each adult, senior and child train ticket purchased will include a free 6-inch personal pizza and drink from Chef’s House, the new pizza vendor for this year’s event. Chef’s House has been NHVR’s food vendor for other 2017 ride days and this is the first year it will serve pizza for the Pizza Party.
Visitors can choose from cheese, pepperoni or veggie pizza to enjoy before or after their train ride. Children under 2 will get a small serving of cheese pizza and a drink. Additional pizza can be purchased for $5 and drinks for $2. Ice cream, craft beer and wine are not included in the ticket price and are separate costs.
A DJ will start the event with games, prizes and giveaways and the live classic rock and blues band RPM will follow.
Tickets cost $14/adults, $13/seniors (ages 60+) and $12children (ages 2-12, under 2 is free).
